Techweek2021 is fast approaching. This year’s theme is “Connecting for a Better Future”. The EdTechNZ team would love to see some education technology sessions and this year’s theme is well aligned to the EdTech sector. After all, Education is the foundation on which all of New Zealand will prosper and grow! If this is of interest, head to the Techweek2021 site and see how you can get involved.
Local EdTech company Gamefroot are developing a suite of interactive online history resources to support the NZ Government’s initiative to modernise the teaching of New Zealand history. One of the great features of this platform is the ability for people to create their own localised content. Any educator or other EdTech company may use the platform to create modern and relevant content.
MFAT has recently published a market report on Columbia and their “digital landscape”. With digital having been identified as a priority for the Columbian Government, this in turn creates a great export opportunity for New Zealand Tech companies who are able to help and accelerate the Columbian initiative.
On the 30th March this year, I’ll be chairing a conference on Modern & Flexible Learning for Schools. This conference will have a strong focus on showcasing elements of remote and blended learning and the opportunity to examine more mature models of digital education delivery. We also hope to have both the EdTechNZ and Tech Alliance event calendars up on our website within the next week or two so keep an eye out for both!
